Microsoft released their Windows 8 Consumer Preview for the public to test and get used to the upcoming Windows 8. One of the big changes are the live tiles that support apps and make it easier for Windows 8 to run on a tablet.
However, keep in mind that the requirements are:
- 1GHz processor
- 1GB (32-bit)/ 2GB (64-bit) of RAM
- 16GB (32-bit)/ 20GB (64-bit) available disk space
- DirectX 9 graphics and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution
